Holiday Sale!
I've been able to lay my hands on a treasure trove
of Bob Proctor home study programs just in time for
the holidays! Produced and distributed as part of
Bob's facilitator training program, they have been
sitting around unused and they're much too good for that.
Some are CDs and many are cassette tapes, and all
are unbelieveably discounted.
These programs changed my life, and they can change
yours, too. Want to get 2006 off to a good start? Pick
up a supply of these awesome programs for peanuts
and start listening!

"Which Category Are You In?"

"What's scary to me is how little a lot of
people do, while expecting massive results."
- - Dan Kennedy
On the way to the airport on Tuesday I ran into unusually
heavy traffic for Omaha, even during rush hour. As I drove
past the Qwest Center arena, I remembered that the Get
Motivated! seminar was being held there.
Had I not had my own seminar to run in Philadelphia, I would
have been there listening to Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, Rudy
Giuliani, and others. I'm an info junkie, always
investing in continuing self-improvement.
And that got me thinking about the different categories
people fall into regarding their view of self-improvement.
I believe there are three.
1. The Cynicals and Skepticals.
These are the people who make fun of those "motivational
speaker rah-rah" events.
They roll their eyes when there's an opportunity for
training or to invest in themselves. They've seen it all
before.
And there's one more word used to describe most of
them - miserable.
Just like they're negative toward self-improvement, that
feeling bleeds into every area of their life. They find
fault with just about everything and everyone they view
through their mud-colored glasses.
Avoid them. They'll pull you into their pity party.
2. The Occasional Participants.
Based on my experience in the training business,I know that
most of the 18,000 who attended the day-long session in
Omaha fall into this category. These are the people who will
attend a seminar or read a book every year or so. Many were
required to go by their company. They all likely had a good
time and left fired up.
Then they went back to their everyday habits the next day.
3. The Doers.
These are the people who take action. Consistently. As I
always say in my training programs, any seminar, book,
or training is like a treadmill or weight machine. It will
work if YOU do.
A caller asked me last week what results he could expect if
he bought my CD's. I told him it could range from zero
results, up to millions of dollars in new sales. The
variable was HIM.
Not surprisingly, the doers are also the people who get
results. They are successful. They are wealthy. They are
optimistic. They win.
And the cycle continues. There is no magic. But there is a
formula, and it works. When you do.
I hope you're in this category. If not, and you want to be,
and are willing to take action, you will. It's simple, but
not easy. Nothing worthwhile is.
So get to it. Or, if you're already at it, congrats in
advance on your next success!

Shared Vision Network
In all my years of promoting my business, I've only run across
one group that has both a great business sense and a powerful
spiritual focus. It's called Shared Vision Network.
The founders, Ken and Judy Foster, invited me to help spread the
word today about their Global Membership Campaign.

They're giving away a huge pile of gifts worth over $5,000!
In fact, I thought this was the perfect time of year to get some early
presents. Especially, ones that are specifically designed to help you
increase your business success and life skills.
There's just one tiny catch in order to get in on this deal - you must
act by Midnight Pacific Time on Tuesday, November 22nd,
2005!

I strongly recommend this organization, especially if you are in California,
Arizona, Nevada or any area where they have local chapters. It's the best
networking investment you can make, and it's pretty inexpensive.

Mind Matters - Action
So why is taking action so hard? How many programs,
books and tapes do you have sitting on the shelf? Why is
it so much easier to create a vision than it is to actually start
working on it?
Well, there's actually two major reasons. The first is that
creating a vision is fun. We get to experience the achievement
of our dreams without the work. But moving that vision from
the metaphysical realm to physical reality involves work, and
some of this work is not fun. In Maria Nemeth's wonderful
book, "The Energy of Money", she calls this problem "Trouble
at the Border."
The truth is that nothing was ever accomplished without work
and no matter how much we love what we do, there will be
aspects of that work that are dull and boring. So, hire it
out! No one said you have to do everything yourself.
The other reason that action is difficult is our old friend,
the subconscious mind. Remember, it wants to keep our
beliefs and our experience of life in harmony, and taking action
on a big, new vision gets everything unbalanced. So the mind
makes us uncomfortable in the hopes that we will give up the
big, new belief. And sometimes we do.
The cure is to recognize that being uncomfortable is a sign
that you're doing it right! You're growing and expanding.
Welcome the discomfort and keep going. Take that set of
tapes or CDs down off the shelf, put them in your car, listen
to them, take notes and then - take action!
Remember, everything you really want is just outside your
comfort zone.
